This is a VA1 machine - the disc drive has been repaired and working great, but would also suit for someone looking for a clean console to use with GDEMU (install yourself, sold separately).

Detail of work carried out:

-Console refit into a new black PAL theme shell

-Blue LED installed to match PAL logo theme

-Clock battery holder installed with new ML2032 rechargeable cell

-Self healing controller board fuse installed. The new polyfuse will reset after power off instead of blowing out like the original fixture.

-Disc drive motherboard capacitors replaced and lens cleaned, drive sled re-greased to reduce noise

-Fan cleaned and re-greased

Disc drive tested working with the set of games I have on hand. Works fine with retail games, your mileage may vary with MIL-CD, homebrew and indie game discs.
