Description
Gibson Custom Shop 1965 NON-REVERSE Firebird V Reissue 12STRING Aqua Mist VOS Ne
Condition: New
A very rare 12-string Firebird has been reissued in a custom color!
When it comes to 12-string guitars, the double-neck EDS-1275 is famously known as an iconic model in Gibson's history.
This time, it's a rare item, a reissue of the original Firebird released in the mid-to-late 1960s, in a 12-string version with a non-reverse body.
The headstock is an open-book style for 12 strings, featuring the same inlay style as the original.
Furthermore, the 'Aqua Mist' color, designed with reference to the color charts of classic car manufacturers, is a blue color with a different feel from Pelham Blue, and the VOS finish gives it a refined look.
While the original 12-string version had a slightly narrower nut width, this Custom Shop version uses a 1-11/16 inch width, the same as typical Gibson products. Players familiar with Gibson necks should feel almost completely at ease playing it.
