The color is an inbetween yellow and green, almost a colornof a certain decade a pea green, reminds me of the 1970s colors... or 1960s era is when I think these date too but just a quick look with an unverified resource and or fact, so not exactly sure what decade these date to, would work great in the kitchen for cookbooks since they can be wiped down. I have not attempted to clean or polish in any way  and they need a good clean. Dusty mostly and remnants of old price stickers on black metal. They are vintage and or used so signs of wear and use are always present. V
