Up for sale is a WW2 USGI M1 Garand stock with a faint GAW cartouche made by Springfield Armory. This stock has seen active military service with plenty of scuffs scratches and dings. appears to have a coat of very old shellac finish applied. This is a fully serviceable stock and it would be a good fit for a mid war rifle. Comes with a correct front ferule. The stock does not have any cracks that would affect function. if there’s anything there, I am not seeing it. Folks know that I give accurate descriptions and I do not deal in counterfeits or misrepresentations. I would consider this a CMP field grade quality. Meaning it is a good mid-level stock for a restoration project. if you were wanting to remove the shellac, this is not too hard with a citrus based remover. Way easier than a poly coated stock. However, if it were me, I would just leave it. Please look at the pictures and ask questions as the stock is sold as is. I only ship in the USA, and will not ship any gun parts to CA, WA, or WA. thank you for looking.
