Item up for bid is a wonderful vintage mid century plastic electric advertising wall clock made to advertise Coca Cola. This piece bears the "Drink Coca Cola" logo in the lower right corner with the upper left reading "Things Go Better With Coke". Item was plugged in and it immediately started up and ran well in the hour we observed it. Motor made noise (humming, light grinding) when in operation so this piece will benefit from some maintenance to run as intended. While clock did function when plugged in this piece is a true vintage piece and as with any vintage electrical item this should be examined by a professional prior to ANY attempted use. 

Clock body is constructed of plastic with exterior edges having a faux wood appearance. Lower edge to the right of center exhibits a vertical crack which is visible from the back side which does not impact the structural integrity of the clock. Center of the clock around the center setting shows a couple of radiating semi horizontal lines which appear to be surface wear. Original hands are present wth minute and second hand showing some bending to the metal. 

Surface of the plastic shows some spots of paint / finish wear and loss around exterior edges with main body of the clock showing spots of soiling and discoloration in the plastic consistent with age and use. Reverse side of the clock shows notable soiling and would benefit from a detail cleaning. Reverse side exhibits an original manufacturer's label from Kirby, Cogeshall, Steinau Co., Inc. Reverse side shows some old residue from an unknown source. Original cord is in place and appears to be in usable condition exhibiting soiling and patina consistent with age. The clock's wall hanging bracket is built into the plastic motor casing.

Clock measures 16-7/8" top to bottom by 16-7/8" wide by 2" in depth. Incredible mid century advertising piece that comes fresh to the market from a recent estate buyout. If you have any questions please feel free to ask.
