On March 16, 1996, Mike Tyson defeated Frank Bruno by third-round technical knockout (TKO) at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas to win the WBC Heavyweight Championship. The fight, a rematch of their 1989 bout, saw Tyson dominate with aggressive punching combinations, forcing a stoppage at 50 seconds into the third round.
