Product Description:
This is a Miyazawa flute featuring a PCM alloy body, silver lip plate, and nickel silver key and mechanism, all coated with high-purity gold plating estimated to be 20K–24K. The flute has a C foot joint with a covered key design. The PCM alloy, developed exclusively by Miyazawa, contains silver, copper, and palladium, offering higher hardness and density than standard sterling silver. This results in a bright, clear tone that maintains the warmth of silver but with more defined articulation. The entire instrument is custom-gold-plated, enhancing its visual appeal and sound richness, with "GP" engraved on the model name indicating gold plating. Due to recent gold price increases, full gold plating options now cost approximately 500,000 yen.
Condition:
This flute is in excellent condition, having been used only briefly. It exhibits remarkable responsiveness, producing powerful sound from low to high registers with ease. The previous owner maintained it meticulously, with recent professional adjustments and full pad replacement completed at Toyoda Flute in April 2024 and August 2025. The gold plating is intact with minimal wear, except for slight thinning on part of the lip plate.
