Red Rum Coin Display Gift Set 1977
Souvenir coin set to commemorate Red Rum's unprecedented third victory in the Grand National at Aintree, on April 2nd 1977. Ridden by Tommy Stack, the world's greatest steeplechase was won by a remarkable margin of 25 lengths over second-place Churchtown Boy. Post-race, an ecstatic reception was given by the jubilant crowd as Red Rum and Stack returned to the winner's enclosure, confirming 'Rummie' as an undisputed sporting legend.
The display, sized 15cm x 10cm, contains a 1977 crown that is in UNC (Uncirculated) condition.
The product is supplied in a clear protective sleeve so both sides of the coin can be viewed.
Our manufacturing process includes a precision laser cutting method to create the necessary holes in each display for the required coins to be inserted and held, safely recessed, in the correct position.
