This is an amazing piece of art created by the inimitable, late Howard Bernstein. It’s one of his otherworldly wood burnings on birch, this one featuring a tribal high priestess surrounded by spirits and haunting creatures. Howie was a New York legend who lived in the Chelsea Hotel where he created artwork for album covers for Debbie Harry and The Yardbirds amongst others. He eventually settled in Arizona and continued his pursuit of blowing minds with his varied masterpieces. This burning measures approximately 26” in height, 12” in width by 1/2” in depth and shipping should be about $50.00. (I will reimburse any overpayment). All auctions are unconditionally guaranteed and proceeds benefit our sanctuary in Northern Arizona, Little Orphan Animals. Thank you for your support!
