<Contents> This photobook chronicles Nobuyoshi Araki's activities in Tokyo over 44 years, from 1962 onwards, divided into 10-year periods.
It traces Araki's career from the 1960s, when he "experimented with all kinds of photography," through the 1970s, when he started his career as a photographer with "Sentimental Journey," to the 1980s, when he was at the peak of his powers, through the 1990s, when a dark shadow fell over him after the death of his wife Yoko, and into the 2000s, all accompanied by Araki's captions.
Published in conjunction with the Nobuyoshi Araki exhibition held at the Edo-Tokyo Museum. Book design by Kazushi Suzuki and Hiroaki Shiota.
