A used 1982 walnut Precision Special has arrived!

The "Precision Special," released in 1980, features active controls (Bass, Treble) allowing for boost and cut up to 15 decibels.

The regular model had an ash body, 1-piece maple neck, and rosewood fingerboard.

Both the body and neck are made of American walnut, and it features a V-shaped neck.

It boasts a luxurious look with gold hardware and black plastic parts.

In passive mode, the Vol and Tone controls produce a powerful P-bass sound. In active mode, the treble boost provides clarity and is well-suited for slap bass, the bass boost produces a thick, warm sound, and boosting both simultaneously creates a gritty sound, allowing for a wide range of tonal possibilities.

The guitar has been fully adjusted, the nut replaced, and the frets replaced.

There are signs of use commensurate with its age, but this does not affect playability.
