Taylor's latest body shape innovation combines the comfortable, easy-to-handle feel of a small-bodied guitar with a large, warm acoustic tone that is unexpected from its compact frame.
It sits between the GS Mini and Grand Concert in terms of size and scale length.
The shorter scale reduces string tension, resulting in a supple and relaxed feel when playing the frets.
Designed from the ground up to provide a fun and exciting acoustic experience for players of all styles and skill levels, the Taylor GT meets the growing demand from acoustic players for a small-bodied, all-solid-wood guitar that can be played musically alongside full-sized guitars.
Internally, it employs a C-class bracing architecture, which expresses the soundboard in a unique way, achieving a warm bass response and impressive volume and sustain that is not typically possible in small-bodied acoustics.
