Description

Guild D-55 Used Acoustic Guitar 1978

This is a top-of-the-line model from the company, boasting luxurious specifications and looks. The amber-colored body top gives it a cool, twilight-like appearance.

The neck is mahogany with an ebony fingerboard, and the body features a spruce top and rosewood sides and back. It delivers a wonderfully American sound, possessing both the powerful energy of a large-displacement engine and a depth and nuance.

The neck is straight and firm, and the truss rod functions correctly.

The frets have over 70% remaining, and the playing condition is excellent.

The string height at the 12th fret is approximately 2mm for the 1st string and 2.8mm for the 6th string, a comfortable setting, but it can be lowered further.

While there are some scratches and signs of age commensurate with its age, there is no deep damage or cracks in the wood.

A generic hard case is included.
