Set of 18 original 35mm colour slides featuring dramatic Arctic landscapes from Scoresby Sund (Kangertittivaq) in Greenland.
A striking documentary series capturing the scale and texture of polar ice formations:
-
Towering glacier fronts and ice cliffs
-
Large sculptural icebergs and floating ice fields
-
Close-up details of cracked and weathered ice surfaces
-
Wide fjord views with scattered pack ice
-
Small working boat navigating near glacier walls, giving a strong sense of scale
-
Ice caves and eroded formations along the glacier edge
The images have a cold, atmospheric palette with excellent natural contrast, typical of polar conditions.
Good overall condition with strong colours. Minor dust or handling marks may be present consistent with age.
A visually impressive set ideal for collectors of exploration, Arctic travel, and landscape photography.
