A superb and Magnificent Edwardian solid sterling silver Water / Beer Jug is embellished with impressive embossed flora, Swags & festoon's. a pair of elegant framed cartouches, one vacant and the other with a stunning coat arms, featuring a wonderful lions head with a lower banner engraved with Nodo Firmo Translated from Latin (In a Firm Knot ).
Beautifully shaped body design, featuring a stunning large scroll handle in the form of a whole anthemion leaf, plus acanthus thumb rest.
The jugs spout neck is ornamented with impressive granulating convex fluted anthemion leaf design, standing on an embossed spreading pedestal base.
This water / beer jug has a beautiful balance, a great easy pour and very easily controllable.
Wonderful gauge of solid sterling silver used, hence its beautiful bright shine & lustre.
Highly polished finish, looks amazing and in wonderful order.
Fabulous condition, obviously spent its life loved and well looked after, looks absolutely wonderful in situation.

Interior is very clean & hygienic. ( no Leaks )
A very special and rare water / beer jug.
This claret Jug is a genuine antique, its over 122 years of age, it does have a beautifully polished finish and will show some light marks commensurate with age and use , although they would be very light and minor.

Very difficult item to photograph as the jug has a lovely polished finish.like a mirror .
