HERMES 100% Silk Twilly Scarf Ribbon "Jeu des Omnibus et Dames Blanches" • Mauve, Citron, Blanc
🔸1937 First Silk Scarf: Highly sought after by collectors, this iconic Hermes design, “The Jeu des Omnibus et Dames Blanches,” is the MOST HISTORIC in the Hermès catalog. It inspired the VERY FIRST Hermes silk scarf (Carré), and first of a long series created by Robert Dumas, Émile Hermès’ son-in-law. (The first Twilly was introduced in FW 2003.)
This exquisite Hermès Twilly ribbon, crafted in France from the finest silk, features horse-drawn vehicles encircle the central medallion. This can be worn alone, with a Twilly Scarf ring, or as a decorative wrap around the neck, hair, wrist, waist, or a bag. And also as a protective wrap on bag handles. Its infinite knots add a whimsical touch to your everyday look!
Lightly used and well-maintained. As this is a pre-owned item, minor wear may exist under close-up inspection, consistent with age and use. No other remarkable flaws noted.
