The 1973 Chevrolet Corvette 2-Door Coupe represents a pivotal year in Corvette historythe final model year of the chrome rear bumper and a true blend of classic styling with evolving performance. This example has undergone an extensive frame-off restoration, bringing it back better than new while preserving the unmistakable character that defines the C3 generation. Finished in striking Flame Blue Metallic over a fresh black interior, it captures attention immediately with a deep, modern gloss that highlights every curve of its iconic body lines.

Beneath the hood lies a professionally rebuilt 350ci V8, thoughtfully upgraded for reliability and performance. Equipped with a Holley 750 carburetor, Edelbrock intake manifold, and Pertronix ignition, the engine delivers crisp throttle response and strong, consistent power. Cooling is handled by an aluminum 4-core radiator paired with twin electric fans, ensuring stable temperatures even in demanding conditions. A polished aluminum water pump, aluminum drive belt pulleys, high-torque chrome mini starter, and high-output chrome alternator add both function and visual appeal to the engine bay.

Power is routed through a Richmond 6-speed manual transmission with overdrive, offering modern drivability while maintaining a true enthusiast experience. A Centerforce clutch with Heim joint clutch linkage provides smooth, confident engagement. The driveline has been fortified with a D&R driveline setup, a rebuilt heavy-duty rear end, and replaced U-joints, ensuring strength and durability. Stainless fuel and brake lines further enhance long-term reliability, while the sandblasted frame has been double-coated with POR-15 for superior protection and longevity.

Handling and braking have been upgraded to match the performance improvements. Power four-wheel disc brakes deliver confident stopping power, complemented by Wilwood front calipers, a chrome brake booster, and new rear rotors. Power steering makes cruising effortless, and Dakota Digital cruise control adds a layer of modern convenience rarely found in vintage Corvettes. Stan headers feed into a stainless steel exhaust system with an X-pipe and stainless mufflers, producing a crisp, authoritative tone that perfectly suits the car's muscular personality.

Inside, the cabin has been completely refreshed with all new interior components and the addition of heat and sound deadening for a refined driving experience. Vintage Air conditioning ensures comfort in warmer climates, making this Corvette as enjoyable on long highway drives as it is at weekend shows. Showing 96,678 miles, this meticulously restored 1973 Corvette offers the perfect balance of classic American styling, modern upgrades, and true driver-focused performance, an exceptional example of one of the most recognizable sports cars ever built.

About Garage Kept Motors

Garage Kept Motors, LLC specializes in classic and specialty online auto sales.

For our consignors, we are the only auto brokers that offer a Transparent Sale Disclosure. This means, when a car sells, we provide an exact copy of the Bill of Sale. We do this so our clients know exactly who bought their car, where it went, and most importantly how much we sold it for. No funny business.

For our buyers, our vehicles are listed on the Internet, with over 100 photos, including undercarriage pictures, and walk-around videos of the vehicles running plus a narrative-style write-up of the cars history and features. Our international exposure allows us to sell cars across the globe, and we sell a majority of them out of state and overseas. We deliver honesty and consistency in our photos, so buyers, both near and far, can invest with confidence sight unseen though we do recommend to check the vehicle out in person or have a PPI (pre-purchase inspection) done. We are not a gallery. Vehicles can be seen locally by appointment as potential buyers are given our undivided attention.
