Danbury Mint is well known for producing numerous series of collector plates. The "Peanuts Magical Moments" series was issued in the early 2000's. With a subscription, the subscriber received a plate with a different design in the series each month for 12 months.
This listing is for "BIG MAN ON CAMPUS", one of the designs in the series of 12 "Peanuts Magical Moments" collector plates featuring the iconic Peanuts Gang characters. The round plate is about 8 inches in diameter with a brightly colored design of a familiar scene with Charlie Brown, Linus, and Snoopy at school. It has gold trim on its edges. It is Plate No. A1711.
As indicated on the bottom, it is a decorative collector plate and not intended for use with food.
My sister loved everything related to the Peanuts Gang and often the items were never displayed or even unboxed. It is in very good condition - no chips, hairlines, crazing, or signs or wear - and still in its original styrofoam packaging. It is ready to add to a collection or display all on its own.
