Excellent Example of British Studio Stoneware - Impressed MD Mark
This is a beautifully executed hand-thrown stoneware bowl, almost certainly by the renowned potter Mike Dodd (born 1943). It features the characteristic "MD" monogram impressed near the foot ring.

• Glaze: A stunning, thick cream-colored "Nuka" style crackle glaze on the interior. The glaze has a wonderful organic texture that breaks beautifully over the darker clay body.
• Rim & Exterior: The rim shows a classic "Tenmoku" chocolate-brown break where the glaze thins, contrasting with the textured interior.
• Form: A classic, deep rounded form with a clean, precisely trimmed ring foot—a hallmark of professional studio throwing.
