This is a 1966 Conn 20A flugelhorn in good condition. All slides and valves move and work well, and valve compression remains quite good. Aside from a small dent on the underside of the bell just before the first slide (see pics), the overall exterior condition is quite nice. The 20A was a unique flugelhorn creation by Conn: its slides are arranged horizontally, allowing the horn to be held and played in similar fashion to a standard trumpet or cornet, and the horn takes a cornet mouthpiece. It was long the instrument of choice of the great Charles Tolliver. The horn will come with its original Conn case.
