TAKASU Intermediate Violin Bow, Japan, 4/4 - Pernambuco

High quality intermediate bow by Takasu of Japan. Round stick is made from beautiful orange-red Pernambuco. The Ebony frog is mounted in German silver (nickel alloy) and decorated with a single pearl eye.

This bow was made in the 2010s and is in very good condition. There is no visible wear on the thumb leather. The hair is in good condition. 

The bow is moderately supple, with good flexibility and bounce. In the tradition of vintage French bows, it is on the lighter side (56 g) and is evenly balanced, with a balancing point of 7 3/8 inches.
