Vintage ACCEL 40200 Ultra Tork Starter Solenoid – NOS Made in USA

Up for sale is a New Old Stock (NOS) ACCEL 40200 Ultra Tork Starter Solenoid. This is the desirable vintage version featuring the original yellow box from the Accel "Eliminator Ignition" era in Branford, Connecticut.

​Unlike modern replacements, this unit features 100% copper windings for maximum magnetic force and a high-strength stainless steel plunger. It provides a more positive starter engagement and is a must-have for high-performance Ford builds or period-correct restorations.

​Fitment: 1965–1990 stock Ford starters (Mustang, Bronco, F-100, F-150, etc.).

​Condition: New/Never installed. Light shelf wear on the chrome cap as shown in photos. Original box included (box shows age/wear).

​Specs: 12V; 60-70 Amps continuous; 200 Amps momentary.

The Part: Excellent. The copper threading is bright and shows no signs of wrench marks, meaning it was never mounted. The black housing is crisp. The chrome cap has some very light "shelf patina" (minor speckling/oxidation) common for its age, which actually proves its vintage status.

​The Box: Shows moderate wear, softening at the edges, and some staining.
