Bernolin baroque flutes (Vincent Bernolin, France) are handmade and are considered significantly superior to the mass-produced Aulos flutes. This flute is at typical baroque pitch of A415, has a palanca-style (larger oval) embouchure for an easy powerful sound, and has reduced (one hole offset) left-hand finger spacing so easy for smaller hands or those not used to the longer finger stretch of low-pitched flutes. The sound is full, dark and satisfying throughout the range. Purchased from Mr Bernolin this flute is priced at $643 USD plus over $100 in shipping and custums, so this flute is priced at a significant savings. I am selling in order to fund the purchase of a hand-made wooden flute which will cost over $2000.
