This is a limited edition 1954 Stratocaster, crafted by Master Builders in 2004 to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Fender Stratocaster's debut in 1954. This special release features authentic relic treatment, with subtle wear that is less aggressive than Closet Classic but more than a standard relic finish, giving it a vintage look and feel. The guitar is built with a lightweight ash body (approximately 3.48kg), reminiscent of early 1954 models, and equipped with a specially made 1954-style "Tall D" pickup, replicating the original serial number style from the initial production run.

The neck is in excellent condition with no issues, and the truss rod has ample adjustment. The fretboard retains about 70-80% of its fret life, ensuring smooth playability. The setup includes a 12th fret string height of approximately 2.2mm on the 6th string and 1.8mm on the 1st string, with a comfortable neck profile.

Features include upgraded CTS 1 Meg split audio potentiometers, vintage ceramic capacitors (Sprague .02M 1.4KV), and a CRL 5-Way switch with replaced switch knob (original footswitch knob included). The guitar comes with a genuine hard case with form-fit padding, signed by Dale Wilson, along with certification, manual, tremolo arm, bridge cover, and hex wrench.
