VERY RARE briefcase from famous English brand PENDRAGON (now PAPWORTH) with 108 years history of making luxury goods of the highest quality.
Each bag is individually created in PENDRAGON workshops by a single craftsman (fully hand-crafted).
Originally advertised as "LONDON BOW-TOP LAWYER BAG".
TRUE VINTAGE COLLECTIBLE BAG from early 1940s. Despite of being almost 80 years old this bag is in amazingly preserved condition.
Comes from single owner's private collection ( physician from U.K.) with MODERATE signs of use. I will rate: EXTERIOR 6 /10, INTERIOR 9 /10. 
Exterior- several scratches, scuffs and discoloration here and there, but the thick cowhide leather is in GREAT supple condition without tears, holes or rips. Corners well preserved. All stitches are intact. Color is CORDOVAN.
ATTENTION: I TRIED TO CAPTURE DAMAGES TO THE LEATHER ON THE TOP ( LAST 2 PHOTOS ) AND DAYLIGHT COLOR (LAST PHOTO).
Interior- VERY clean without odors. Triple gusset bag with two thick vinyl dividers. Lined with beautiful heavy-duty fabric. NO tears, NO rips, NO stains.......
Heavy duty solid brass hardware. Functional BRITISH mid-century "ENGLISH LEVER"  lock with the original key in leather clochette.
Ergonomic  leather handle - sturdy and  clean. 
Dimensions: 17.5" W X 13" H X 6.7" D expanded at the base.
