Description:

Beautiful wooden music box featuring a decorative inlaid lid design of a violin and sheet music. The interior label confirms the tune as “Edelweiss” by R. Rodgers, with movement made by Reuge, Switzerland.

Crafted with a burled wood-effect finish, contrasting dark wood trim and red velvet-lined interior. The mechanism is visible beneath a clear protective panel and operates by a wind-up key to the base. Raised on four brass-tone feet.

Size (closed): approximately 6.5cm (H) x 11cm (W) x 9.5cm (D).

The music box is in very good used condition and in full working order. There is a small cosmetic chip to one corner (please see images), along with light age-related surface wear consistent with use. Overall, it presents very well.

A charming collectible piece and a lovely gift idea.
