Also, while they’re all playable, barely so with Roll #5, they all have some condition issues as noted in descriptions.

US 61368 Maple Leaf Rag Scott Joplin. Paper curled by tab, a couple of feet of bass edge have tears/folds that can be taped. (See Image #2) Arrangement is close to the sheet music. Outer box scuffed and splitting along top end seams.

QRS 31530 Old Folks Rag Leader creased, bass edge had crowded against the spool, so numerous small splits/ light curling. Sounds like a knock-off of the 12th Street Rag. Box good except for a small paper chip and light scuffing front top.

QRS Word Roll 431 Tishomingo Blues Played by Pete Wendling. Front of leader is missing. As often happens, somebody tried punching a hole in the paper to hook up to the take-up spool. Didn’t work, so you have about 6 inches of paper to splice a new leader onto before the music starts. Once you get past what remains of the leader, the roll is in good shape. Nice arrangement, too. Box is fair; split seam and scuffed front top edge and scuffed corners back.

Starck 3279 Chong (He Come From Hong Kong). This is actually an Aeolian “Universal” roll, and has lyrics plus the edge perforations for the Themodist system.Yellowed leader and towards the end there is a diagonal crease (probably from original manufacture) which doesn’t affect playing. Box split top seams at ends.

International Word Roll 93528 Louisiana Mess Around Blues. Tom Delaney. There are large edge chips in the first verse (see image for Some of them)…after that the edges are okay, but it's still the typically fragile International paper. Leader has a tear/fold by tab that can be taped. Box is fair at best with split seams and chipped paper.

I’d hold onto these, but it’s time to clear out space. Upright actions, piano factory machinery, pianos…gotta go.
