I've never tested HOT liquids in it but you could try.

I just put some hot water from my faucet in it 

and the outside was barely warm but slightly.

I think it was probably meant for COLD.

Holds:  24 ounces

Keeps it cold for about: 4-6 hours

Bottom has a few scuff marks from use

 but does not affect the design.

Keep the straw or I would recommend 

buying any new plastic hard straw.

Also there's a hard water line (very light) near the top.

Does not affect your drink.
