60ft narrow boat The End was built by Collingwood Boat Builders and fitted out by East London furniture makers Mad Goat Furniture in 2024/25.

Professionally built and insulated, with a full electrical system fitted by Collingwood including spot lighting, wall / mood lighting, starling inverter which powers 5 double socket plugs throughout the boat, and all the 12v charging ports.

The internal fit out was completed from November 24-June 25. The fit out was carried out by my furniture making firm that is based out of Hackney Wick (www.madgoatfurniture.com).

The reason we are selling is because we are relocating to France, otherwise we had planned to stay on this for a much longer time - hence all the work that has gone into it. 

The boat is basically brand new, we’ve been living in it since June last year (8 months) but we’ve kept it very clean and I’ve just given it all a fresh lick of paint as a bit of a spring clean. 

This is the ideal boat for either continuous cruising - which is what we’ve been doing with it - or for having in a marina as it has shoreline plug in power as well. I’ve lived on a canal boat for about 8 years now and everything about this boat - the layout, the storage etc. Comes from years of figuring out what does and doesn’t work. If you’re new to boating and interested in buying, I’d be really happy to talk you through any questions you have about living on the waterways. 

We’ve recently had it surveyed and out of the water (October 25) for a valuation which I’d need to dig out but can supply to anyone interested in buying her. 

Although we’ve only lived on it for 8 months, we’ve put our heart and soul into making this boat our home and we’d really like to see it go to someone else that loves it as much as we do.
