It is common knowledge that the first batch of certificates commissioned by Rolex in the 70s had NO watermarks.
There are many different versions of it. Soon after they were released, Rolex changed them to the ones with watermarks.
The first batch were printed the same way as they did the old chronometer certificates, which had no watermark either.
They were printed using the offset technique.
You can see in the photos that the print has a relief, and pixel dots cannot be seen.
There is a lot of misinformation in the watch business, so you can do your own research.

Returns
We reserve the right to charge a 10% restocking fee on all returns.
Shipping and handling charges are not refundable.
The buyer is responsible for the return shipping fee.

We typically ship orders Monday through Friday (except for Holidays) within 3 business days of receipt of cleared payment.
Please make sure your shipping address is correct before sending payment.
All orders are shipped with a tracking number.
You will receive and email with it as soon as your order ships.
