Vintage Iros Keen straight razor manufactured in Solingen, Germany, featuring a decorative etched blade with gold-tone detailing and translucent amber-colored scales.
The blade retains attractive etching and gold-tone accents, with age-appropriate patina and light surface wear consistent with use and storage. No claims are made regarding shave readiness; the razor has not been freshly honed and is offered as found.
The translucent scales show natural aging, including horizontal surface lines consistent with early plastic manufacturing and age. These are manufacturing/age-related marks and not cracks. There is a hairline crack at the pivot pin area of one scale (see close-up photos).
Pivot / action note:
The blade does not consistently hold at the 45° position unless light pressure is applied to the scales. The razor opens and closes smoothly, but the pivot tension is loose and may require adjustment or restoration, depending on buyer preference.
