An original (not modern reprint) 8x10" vintage photo from a massive estate collection of original movie stills and publicity photos. Professionally packaged in a rigid mailer for safe delivery.
Photo Overview
This original 1943 20th Century-Fox publicity photograph shows bandleader Benny Goodman standing at center with clarinet in hand on the musical soundstage of The Gang's All Here, surrounded by his orchestra members and chorus girls between takes. The relaxed candid image captures Goodman in conversation with fellow musicians while two costumed showgirls lounge on the floor in front of the bandstand, with studio flats and drapery visible in the background.
The Gang's All Here, directed by Busby Berkeley, is renowned for its lavish Technicolor musical numbers and Benny Goodman’s featured performances, including the famous “Paducah” sequence with Carmen Miranda. Original studio stills from this film remain sought after by collectors of swing-era jazz, classic Hollywood musicals, and Goodman memorabilia. Add this authentic wartime big band movie image to your collection today before another serious collector does.

Print analysis: Glossy double-weight 8x10 photographic paper with blank back and period pencil identification suggests a 1943–44 studio-issued still. Tonal range, edge borders, and lack of modern photo-paper branding indicate a vintage darkroom print made close to the film’s release, so this is best classified as a Type 1 original photo.
Condition: Good to excellent vintage condition. Some of our older photos may have age wear, coloring, creases, or other imperfections. Please see photos for detailed scans of both sides.
