Rolex introduced this movement in 1977 and used it until 1988. It was the first Rolex fast beat movement designed to run at the rapid rate of 28800 half beats per hour. It is also equipped with a quick-set date function, allowing the date to be changed without moving the hands, and a stop-second system to accurately set the time to the radio signal. It is also accurate and gives plenty of power reserve. This automatic calibre has 27 jewels and has a full chronometer certification. It has been adjusted to five positions and temperature. Calibre 3035 was also used in iconic Rolex models, including the Submariner and GMT - Master. The robust Oyster watch case measures 36mm without the crown and 43mm lug to lug. The caseback has reference No. 16000. The Rolex serial number between the lugs is 654****, dating this watch to 1980. The inscription between the top lugs reads: Registered Design 16030. The lug width is 20mm, and the bracelet will fit a 215mm (8.5 inch) wrist. The link ends have a reference 555. The watch features a famous Rolex crystal with a magnifying bubble above the date. The fully original dial has no blemishes and golden hour markers with golden Rolex hands. The screw-down Rolex crown is signed with the Rolex logo.
