DESCRIPTION: This listing is for a beautiful antique French Victorian inkstand. This elegant piece is finely crafted and detailed, and made of gilt brass/bronze. It is done in the lavish and ornate French Baroque style. The inkstand features a rectangular-form body with rounded sides, supported by three feet. The frame features two candle holders and two lidded inkpots with removable inserts. The body features low relief Baroque designs, with the front and back being adorned by scrolled fanciful decorations. The inkstand will add old-world French elegance to any interior!

CONDITION: The inkstand presents well and is in good antique condition, with minor display wear and patina commensurate with age and use. There is minor surface wear and tarnish. The hinge of the left-side inkpot is partly broken. One inkpot is missing its inner cover, while the other cover appears to be a replacement. Sold as-found. Please review all photos. Thank you!
