Martin D-41 1975 Used Acoustic Guitar

The "D-41" was designed by Martin public relations and researcher Mike Longworth and began production in 1969. The "D-45" was developed in response to the demand for affordable guitars. As a mid-range model between the 28 and 45, it offers a luxurious feel and a unique character. This instrument is a used 1975 model. It features a Sitka spruce top, rosewood back and sides, mahogany neck, ebony fingerboard and bridge, USA gold Grover pegs, vertical headstock logo, hexagonal fingerboard inlays, solid abalone rosette and trim, a large rosewood bridge plate, a square neck truss rod, and non-scalloped X-bracing. The pickguard has been replaced with a matching black one. The non-scalloped bracing and SQ rods give the guitar a strong core and a rich tone, giving it a distinctive character unlike modern guitars. Its thick, sweet, and single-stranded high notes resonate pleasantly. While there's a crack repaired on the fingerboard, the body itself retains its original, crack-free finish. The saddles have been sanded down to the bare minimum and are currently set at a standard string height. Playability is excellent. There are minor scratches and signs of use, such as paint chips around the tuning machine washers, repaired fingerboard binding, and a hole in the neck heel where the strap pin is attached, but there's no major damage and the guitar shows signs of minor weathering, giving it a very good appearance. Whether you're looking for a laid-back tune or a more folky, powerful sound, this is the guitar for you to experience the best of a '70s Martin. The original hard case is included.
