Columbia Records Pressing Plant, Terre Haute repressing
on the 1978-1982 Fantasy “lightning-sky” record label.
Fantasy Records used
a blue and white "lightning bolt" label for Creedence Clearwater
Revival (CCR) vinyl records primarily in the late 1970s and early 1980s,
specifically appearing on reissues and compilations like the offered “Chronicle”.
This label replaced the earlier "Full Radial Stereo" label and was
used on 9500 series pressings around 1977-1980.
Key
Details on Fantasy Lightning Bolt Labels (CCR):
These labels are
distinct from the original late 60s/early 70s labels and are generally
considered second or later pressings of the classic CCR catalog.
The blue sky with lightning bolts label was first available in 1977.
Always stored upright, kept in
dry, non-smoking homes. Please review the twenty-four (24) photos to
assist in your assessment of the gatefold album jacket, the two (2) inner paper
sleeves and the two (2) vinyl records. The photographs are an integral part of
the descriptions of each of these items.
