Add this underdrive pulley & belt kit to your 1987-1993 Ford Mustang 5.0L FOX for less accessory drive drag and increased power. With a few simple hand tools, you can easily swap out your stock pulleys with these lighter, resized pulleys for a noticeable difference in power! With a new Gates Micro-V belt included, you no longer have to worry about finding the right-sized belt for your application. Underdrive pulleys are resized pulleys designed to drive a vehicle's accessories at a slower rate than factory. Each kit features a new crank, water pump, and alternator pulley to reduce the amount of power your accessories use, and free up horsepower that was once robbed by your accessory drive. Gains of up to 10+ hp and 2-3 mpg have been seen with the installation of an underdrive pulley kit. This kit is manufactured from billet aluminum to give you a strong and lightweight addition to your 5.0L engine. With a lighter pulley, you get a quicker spinning accessory drive that will operate more efficiently, increasing horsepower and torque. With Gates' Micro-V belt, you can decrease belt noise and prevent belt slippage thanks to their unique grid design. This gives the belt more grip, keeping your accessory drive running perfectly. This kit features a black finish to add a clean look to your Fox Body engine bay!

This kit is designed to be used with a factory A/C equipped car with all drive accessories still in place, this includes the smog pump. If these are NOT on your car, a then a free spinning pulley will need to be in place for these to work.

***** Due to the difference in diameter from the stock Mustang pulleys, the alternator, and charging system may need to be upgraded if you have a large stereo system. The alternator pulley in this kit will only work with the stock 75 amp alternator. The underdrive alternator pulley will NOT work on 3g alternator upgrades! *****
