Size (approx.): 17" wide x 18¼" tall
Framed in Zinc with Hanger Chains
Glass included in this panel: Central "scallop shell" clear bevel cluster and 4-pc. clear bevels above it, blue waterglass, clear textured glass, variegated blue-and-green combed glass, and teal muffle glass.
Provenance: This panel is part of a large collection of new-old stock inventory from a stained glass studio in the Northeast. It was never previously sold or displayed. The artist worked over a 25-year period, first in Pennsylvania and later in Maryland, where she had moved her studio. All her work was meticulously handcrafted in the "Tiffany method"--finely soldered joints instead of thick lead "came" joints (as in heavy church windows)--resulting in a much finer piece of art glass for display in the home or office.
