CMAC Model Railways Class 185


Operating on the TransPennine Express routes, the class 185 was for many years, the only unit in their fleet covering all routes.

The kit is of x3 bodyshells, chassis and x6 bogies to assist the builder - the interior and glazing will need to be sourced by the builder. As 3d prints, there may be surface defects and small issues with the finer detail that the modeller will need to finesse.

This model has not been designed around a particular powered chassis but could be powered using either a powered bogie such as a Black Beetle or using the chassis from a 23m DMU model such as a class 158 or 170. The model will not be provided with wheels and the wheels used in these bogies are 10.4mm EMU/DMU wheels from Wizard wheels.
