Hard drive upgraded to a 4tb Western Digital Purple
System was thoroughly cleaned inside and out
entire motherboard cleaned with 99% alcohol
capacitors near CPU replaced with good caps from Mouser
fresh Arctic MX-4 thermal paste on CPU & GPU
fan speed increased slightly for better cooling
Heat sink added to MCPX southbridge (these can get quite hot and the factory did not provide any heat sink)
metal cage painted to prevent rust
the DVD drive has been eliminated - however i doubt you will ever need it
clock capacitor removed:
(these are known to leak and all they do is save the time/date for a few hours if system is unplugged)
(time/date will auto set if you have the xbox connected to internet - so that further makes the clock cap moot)
comes with:
Controller - OEM Microsoft
Power Cord
HDMI adapter
HDMI adapter allows use on modern TVs and
supports 480i, 480p, 720p and 1080i
i recommend leaving 1080i turned off
1080i a resource hog and slows the system down
only a couple games even support 1080i and 720p looks as good or better IMO.
most Xbox games support 480p or 720p which looks light years better than
standard def 480i (which is all you will get with the old school Yellow plug AV cable)
note: a few certain 4k TVs may not like the 480 signal from this adapter
if you get flicker on 480 games i recommned trying a different TV or
getting an ElectronXout adapter instead.
note for international bidders:
this console runs on 100-127 volt North America/Japan power
if your country has 200-240 volt mains you will need a step down power adapter
