Up for purchase from my collection is this rare Waltham Crescent Street Pocket Watch, c. 1897. It is an 18 Size, 21 Jewel Pocket Watch marked American Waltham Watch Co. on the dial. Serial number is 7014701. It has a nice original double-sunk dial with Arabic numerals and matching blued hands. This dial does show some hairlines. It is in a Salesman Sample Display Case with glass crystals on both the front and back bezels. These screw on and off easily. It is stem wind, stem set. There were only 71,318 made.
The movement has beautiful damascening and is marked Crescent St., Waltham, Mass., 7014701, 21 Jewels, Adjusted, Safety Barrel. It is a beautiful watch that is running well and keeping good time. It winds and sets easily.
