The late Genichi Kawakami, then president, ordered the staff to create an all-original electric guitar.
Features introduced to the SG1000 include the Bi-Sound System, which allows you to coil-tap the humbucking pickup to obtain a single-ended sound, and a Direct Circuit, which prevents grounding that can impair the high frequencies of the sound itself.
