Outstanding and regal Japanese Azalea Rex or Hybrid Rhododendron is an evergreen shrub with a fairly compact ball-like habit. This robust and vigorous species grows in layers. It flowers early and blooms from April to May. It offers a generous flowering giving clusters of 12 to 25 bell-shaped flowers that emerge before the leaves. 4 to 5 cm in diameter, these downy flowers are salmon pink to reds.

This Plant attracts pollinators, promoting biodiversity and supporting a flourishing garden ecosystem
