Genuine vintage Guy Motors “Feathers in Our Cap” Indian Head radiator/bonnet mascot – a classic piece of British commercial vehicle history from the Wolverhampton-based manufacturer (1914–1982).

This iconic Native American chief design, with detailed feathered headdress proudly inscribed “FEATHERS IN OUR CAP”, was used on Guy lorries, buses, and coaches from the late 1920s through the postwar era. Cast in metal (likely aluminium with original chrome/silver finish and natural age patina), it features the serene downward-gazing profile that made it instantly recognisable on UK roads.

Mounted on its original-style polished wooden display base, making it perfect as a desk ornament, paperweight, or shelf display for vintage vehicle enthusiasts. Excellent vintage condition with authentic wear and patina consistent with age – no damage, cracks, or repairs visible. A heavy, substantial piece that feels quality in hand.

Highly collectible among lorry/bus mascot and automobilia fans. Similar examples have appeared in specialist auctions and collections (e.g., ex-Dan Smith Collection). Don’t confuse with the similar Pontiac version – this is the authentic British Guy Motors piece!
