This is a luxurious yet practical bag, an original Ghurka Bag in style No. 5, "The EXAMINER," made in the US in 1987. This brief is fantastic and in khaki twill and saddle Leather. This bag is one of the first designs Ghurka ever introduced, and because of its popularity, it is still being made! The brief is in excellent condition. It was barely used. We rated the brief 9.2 out of a perfect 10!
Ghurka No. 5
The Examiner is a mid-sized classic business bag offering one generously sized compartment that closes securely with a solid brass zipper. There are two exterior flap pockets with signature brass points and leather tab closures, and two rear exterior open pockets perfect for a newspaper or small umbrella. Accommodates smaller laptops.

Founded in Connecticut in 1975 by luxury belt-and-brace designer Marley Hodgson, Ghurka has served as a symbol of superior American leather craftsmanship for over 30 years.
The origins of the Ghurka brand can be traced back to a fortuitous discovery at a British auction house in the early 1970s. Inspired by his love of history and leather craft, Hodgson bid on campaign travel gear and leather boots that had belonged to a British Ghurka officer stationed in India at the turn of the 20th century. He was so impressed by the quality of the nearly century-old leather – durable yet supple despite its age – and by the intricate craftsmanship that he was compelled to launch a line of leather accessories comparable to it. Hodgson tracked down the lost tanning formula for these boots and other accouterments carried by the legendary Ghurka regiments and applied the manufacturing process to his new collection.
With a new dedicated management team, I am confident that we will see more of Ghurka, which is better and more versatile than ever. (My comment).

9- Excellent Condition: New, maybe a floor sample or a minor sign of being used. Or tried once, in excellent condition with no visible wear, or very hard to find any signs of use.
10 PERFECT CONDITION: brand new with or without tags or excellent pre-owned condition; no rips, stains, tears, or holes; ready to use.
