I am delighted to offer for sale this lovely lidded serving bowl/dish/tureen by James Jamieson & Co of Bo'ness, in the Bosphorous design.

I think it is in black on white, but with the etched/dotty effect it looks brown.

It is in generally pretty good condition for its age. There is a crack to the bowl, as can be seen in the pictures. There is a slight firing crack close to the handle of the lid - not easily seen. There is crazing, as to be expected, and some other age related marks and grazes, but really very little crazing or discolouration. Its great to see the handle is in very good condition, and in fact I can't even see any obvious signs of chips. All really very good considering. Please satisfy yourself by looking closely at the photos. I'll be happy to provide more if required.

Measurements are approximate, as follows:

Bowl - Just over 12" at widest point, and 11.25" at the shorter width. Around 3.25" deep.

Lid - 9.25" wide at rim. Around 4.75" deep to top of finial.

With lid in place on bowl - 7.25" depth.
