A very rare opportunity to own the beautiful (1901 Charles May, Birmingham) Victorian solid silver topped perfume bottle with a hobnail or diamond cut design in a (we think) Sycamore turned wooded case.engraved with a single word "Bellagio", this could be either the Italian town/area or the Las Vegas casino. We cannot confirm either... The bottle is empty, but does retain some of the fragrance upon opening..
It has the original piece of wadding in the base for the bottle to travel with and the cut glass has not been cleaned as we did not want to remove the fragrance that remains.
A very rare piece dated using the silver hallmarks that indicate the year to be 1901 and made in Birmingham England.
