Intro

I hope you enjoy my selection of trombone transcriptions. The choice is obviously based on musicians who have inspired me, both as a listener and an apprentice saxophone player.

Each transcription is preceded by a biographical introduction to the musician whose work is featured. I hope you find these life-stories an interesting introduction to each artist. The introductions also help to bring some colour and relief to the endless (but inspiring) black dots!

I've used Wikipedia whose site often offers a more expanded explanation of the artist, his life story and his contribution to jazz.

All the transcriptions show the chords to the original tune.
