Up for sale is this nice vintage late 1800s to early 1900s Burley and
Winter Pottery Company 2-gallon glazed stoneware whiskey/moonshine jug. The Burley and Winter Pottery Company
operated out of Crooksville, Ohio from 1872 through the mid-1930s. This heavy stoneware jug has the Burley and
Winter cobalt blue “heart” logo embossed in the clay. The inclusion of the “2” in the logo
represents the 2-gallon capacity of the jug.
This jug is in very good condition with only one minor chip on the edge
between the two colors. Please see the
