A GORGEOUS find! ~ This amazing textile is a large antique French bed curtain panel dating c1880 ~ Wonderful printed cotton with black ground and beautiful floral and foliage design. The tones are beautifully faded with time. This textile is trimmed on the left facing side. The cotton is a heavy weight , gentle twill weave printed cotton. This curtain would have draped from the side of a bed . The top has been cut , so it would just need hemming and then rings or another hanging method to be used again as a curtain. This textile is constructed using two full widths and one half width. The fabric is strong and durable and could be used beautifully for upholstery or lovely used for multiple projects! ~ ( please see my other textiles for the matching side panel ) ~ ( PR 987)

CONDITION ~ This textile is in as found condition, not freshly laundered with light storage dust. This large curtain has a few large holes near the bottom and there are some tears on the side edge. It's unwashed and would be nice to have a quick hand or machine wash on gentle ( cold) and hung to dry. The top is cut so can be hemmed easily ~*~
